NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s call to abolish ICE while a four-time deported illegal immigrant allegedly murders an 83-year-old Air Force veteran on the subway exposes the deadly consequences of prioritizing ideology over American lives.
Mayor Prioritizes Illegal Immigrants Over Veterans’ Safety
Mayor Zohran Mamdani, 34, doubled down on his support for abolishing ICE this week, characterizing the federal agency as “terrorizing people no matter their immigration status, no matter the facts of the law.” The newly elected mayor made these statements during a Tuesday ABC appearance and Friday news conference, claiming ICE “delivers nothing toward the furthering of the cause of public safety.” Yet Mamdani remained conspicuously silent on the brutal murder of Richard Williams, an 83-year-old Air Force veteran allegedly shoved onto subway tracks by a four-time deported illegal immigrant from Honduras. This selective outrage reveals where the mayor’s priorities truly lie.
Federal-Local Clash Over Criminal Illegal Aliens
The Department of Homeland Security confirmed that a NYC Council employee detained by ICE during a routine immigration appointment is in the country illegally with an alleged criminal history including assault arrests. Mamdani condemned this detention as evidence of ICE’s overreach, while DHS defended the action as lawful enforcement. Under current city law, ICE receives notification only when backed by a judicial warrant and the individual has a qualifying recent conviction for violent or serious crimes. This restrictive policy handcuffs federal authorities attempting to remove dangerous criminals, creating sanctuary conditions that protect illegal aliens at New Yorkers’ expense.
War-Weary Americans Question Immigration Enforcement Failures
Mamdani’s stance reflects broader Democratic positioning on immigration, but MAGA supporters exhausted by Trump’s second-term Iran war and unfulfilled promises about avoiding new conflicts are equally frustrated with policies that endanger American citizens. The mayor claims to have discussed immigration enforcement with President Trump privately and publicly, yet federal-local cooperation remains fractured. Americans who voted to secure borders and end globalist overreach now watch as local officials actively obstruct immigration enforcement while violent crimes by deportable aliens multiply. This isn’t the America First agenda conservatives were promised.
ICE Abolition Movement Ignores Victims
Mamdani justified his abolition position by citing ICE’s fatal shooting of Renee Good, a 37-year-old Minnesota mother of three, during an enforcement operation. While demanding “humanity” in immigration enforcement, the mayor ignored the humanity stolen from Richard Williams and his family. The Air Force veteran served his country honorably, only to die violently because enforcement mechanisms failed four times to permanently remove his alleged killer. Democrats calling for ICE abolition offer no viable alternative for removing criminal aliens or enforcing immigration law. Their proposals amount to open borders masked as compassion, leaving law-abiding Americans vulnerable to preventable violence while our resources get stretched thin fighting wars overseas.

Conservative voters who supported Trump to restore law and order, secure borders, and keep America out of endless conflicts now face a disillusioning reality. Local officials like Mamdani actively undermine federal immigration enforcement while the administration is mired in Middle East regime change operations, and everyday Americans bear the costs in rising energy prices, lost security, and broken promises. The Constitution guarantees federal authority over immigration, yet sanctuary cities operate with impunity. When mayors prioritize illegal immigrants over citizens’ constitutional right to safety, they violate their oath of office and common sense. Americans deserve leaders who protect their lives first, not politicians who sacrifice public safety for ideological posturing.

I support immigration law period!!!! GOD BLESS OUR PRESIDENT DONALD J. Trump and ICE BABY
This man’s murder is nothing but collateral damage in Mamdani’s conversion of New York into another Sharia outpost such as London. It isn’t the first, and it certainly won’t be the last fatality.
The POS mayor of NYC, (& his entire family), are professed muslim communists. They hate America, Catholicism, Judaism but he forgets that the USA is a JUDEO-CHRISTIAN country. Although there is freedom of religion you are not expected to drag your pedophile beliefs out onto the streets of this free country to intimidate or in anyway disrupt the peace of America with your screaming of vile hateful chants which you pass off as religion.
Immigration is a very difficult issue. We as Americans have benefited from Immigration. If our parents, grandparents, great grandparents, etc. had not come as immigrants we wouldn’t be here benefiting from the American way of life. This immigration flow goes back centuries. Today, we live in a different world, both economically, politically. and socially. But we as a nation still depend on immigration as regards our economy and life style. If you didn’t have immigrants working in the fields of California and other parts of our nation we wouldn’t be having food on our tables like we are used to and need to have. Likewise we may not have workers in our factories and cities if we don’t have immigrants. This issue needs to be studied by various parts of our society including universities, state governments, the federal government, and our various political parties, etc. I thank God for my parent’s ancestors who came from Europe, and my wife’s ancestors who came from Mexico. And my heart goes out to the many citizens whose ancesctors came from Asia, South America and Africa who have difficulties because the don’t have European backgrounds.
Most if not all of our immigrant forefathers came here “LEGALLY”, they didn’t sneak in in the middle of the night. It’s a whole different thing when you have fools opening the door (border) and letting anyone and everyone just walk in, try that with your house if you doubt me!
