TikTok users never cease to amaze. This time, they’ve really stepped it up a notch, as a video of men, women, and children standing up for the US National Anthem started circulating on the platform.
However, instead of praising these patriots for their dedication to this country and its values, the woke section of TikTok stared at the video in horror, shocked by what they were seeing.
“Dystopian” sight
In typical Gen Z lib fashion, they went on to describe the sight as being akin to something out of some dystopian novel, almost as if standing up and singing the National Anthem isn’t something common for all the countries across the globe.
Who cares about what China owned Tik Tok thinks if we stand for OUR national anthem? pic.twitter.com/4xMsungGlg

Someone’s been watching way too much Hunger Games and it shows. The “Star Spangled Banner” has been around for far longer than the entirety of TikTok’s user base and the aforementioned book series.
The video itself was posted to the platform by a woman who claimed the situation to have been the most dangerous experience in her entire life, following it up with a number of hashtags you’d expect to see on some BLM propaganda post.
For some reason, the hashtag #whitepeoplethings was also included, even though a number of black and Hispanic Americans were visible in the shot, almost as if national pride is something exclusive to white Americans.
This blows my mind. Some tik tok user freaked out when people @ a restaurant stood for the national anthem. She posted that she had never been more fearful of her life than that moment. What’s even worse is that a lot of the 15000 comments people gave were the same as hers.

Gen Z, completely detached from reality
Unfortunately, TikTok is nothing more than a woke echo chamber. It didn’t take long for the post to be trending on the platform, amassing 17k comments in a short time, the majority of them disgusted with the display of patriotism.
Taking note of these comments feels like a crime in and of itself, just for the fact they all come from persons completely detached from reality, with one of the commenters saying that the scene looks like something out of a horror film.
A TikTok user from the UK also found themselves confused with the contents of the video, pretending that it’s not something the Brits also do when their National Anthem plays.
This article appeared in The Record Daily and has been published here with permission.Restaurant in fall room ca. has a tradition of playing the national anthem every day and people stand with their hands over their hearts. Apparently the progressive, pro communist tik tok crowd found this horrifying and were scared. Ever been to a major sporting event?
