Emblematic Fox News host Tucker Carlson, who was sacked on Monday, was actually ousted by Fox chairman and billionaire Rupert Murdoch.
This happened because of a discrimination lawsuit against him and because Carlson maintained there were undercover government agents in the crowd that penetrated the US Capitol on J6, according to reports.
Axed with No Explanation
Tucker Carlson was let go by Fox without any explanation to his millions of viewers.
FOX News Media announced the highly popular conservative journalist was no longer with the network in a statement on Monday, which only declared it and Carlson “agreed to part ways.”
The statement also thanked the most highly-rated Fox News host for his long-standing service.
It informed patriotic and conservative Americans that Friday was Tucker Carlson’s last show. Until a new host is found for the same evening show, it will be hosted by “rotating FOX news personalities.”
Not a word about the reasons, or at least causes, of Carlson’s “abrupt” axing.
Tucker Carlson, who was born in San Francisco in 1969 and is a graduate of Trinity College in Connecticut, had been hosting “Tucker Carlson Tonight” since 2016.
Decades ago, he used to work in liberal media. He had a CNN stint between 2000 and 2005 where he was a co-host and commentator on a daily news debate show, followed by time at MSNBC where Carlson hosted an evening program between 2005-2008.

Misogyny and J6 Claims
Carlson’s firing by Fox News occurred due to a discrimination lawsuit filed by Abby Grossberg, a former producer on his show, according to an LA Times report.
Besides that, the report suggests Fox chairman Rupert Murdoch wasn’t worried solely by the lawsuit, but also because Carlson dwelled on the possibility there were undercover federal agents amid Trump’s supporters in the J6 rally.
In her lawsuit in New York’s Southern District, the former senior booking producer of “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Grossberg, accused both the host and the network of “sexism and harassment.”
Grossberg claimed rampant misogyny within the show’s team. According to the report, she alleged the staffers were polled twice about which of the two women running for governor of Michigan they would like to have sex with.
In another case cited by the former producer, she said the show had mocked-up photos of former US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, showing her “cleavage.”
