Postmen and postwomen deliver the mail and perform a valuable service in our lives, but they’re in increasing danger and it’s not from the weather. Across the country, there’s been a sharp rise in attacks and robberies of postal carriers.
78% Jump in Robberies of Postal Carriers Between 2021 and 2022
There were over just under 500 robberies of postal carriers last year. That’s up 78% from 2021. The US Postal Service is understandably worried about what to do about this huge uptick in crimes against its employees.
As US Postal Service union chief Paul Barner notes, robberies, “assaults” and also homicides against their letter carriers are “completely unacceptable.”
Every day, around 162 million first-class mail items are delivered to their recipient across America. Postmen and postwomen should not have to worry they’ll be beaten up, robbed at gunpoint, or killed while on the job.
Postal carriers have more worries than snow, rain or the gloom of night keeping them from their appointed rounds. They're increasingly being robbed, often at gunpoint, from Maine to California, writes ABC News. This is Biden's violent America!

A 400% Rise in Robberies of Postal Workers Since 2012
Between 2012 to 2022, there has been a 400% rise in robberies of postal carriers. Guns were used in the majority of these stickups, with criminals demanding that carriers hand over money and valuables.
Postman Aundre Cross was shot and killed in Milwaukee last year, while 31 others were injured out of the 496 stick-ups.
Some of the attackers will use knives and machetes as well to threaten postal workers and demand valuables. Union reps are demanding solutions now, and they’re right to be angry.
Postal workers shouldn’t have to be armed and ready to draw when they’re trying to focus on finding the right address, but if things keep going the way they are, that’s exactly what will happen. That or else a major exodus out of the postal service.
Who wants to do a job where you’re wandering into dangerous inner-city neighborhoods with criminal psychopaths stalking your trail and not enough police presence?
Robberies of postal carriers have exploded, surging 78% to nearly 500 in 2022, according to data provided by U.S. Postal Inspection Service. https://t.co/6BujJKPr1O

The Bottom Line
This is Biden’s America: lawless, upside-down, and falling apart. It is 100% unacceptable and we need our republic restored and adults back in charge as soon as possible.
