Conservative TV network Fox News appears to have made a gigantic blunder by kicking out its highest-rating member, Tucker Carlson. This has just been demonstrated by the public reaction to his first arrival since his ouster, a report reveals.
Ousted by Dominion Voting Systems?
Tucker Carlson was sacked recently without any explanation. His axing came days after Fox agreed to pay almost $800 million to Dominion Voting Systems in a settlement under a defamation lawsuit.
Many pundits presume Carlson’s sacking was connected with that. He has frequently questioned the validity of the 2020 election results. Dominion has been suing Fox for slandering its voting machine technology with such allegations.
Whatever the real reason for firing the host of “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” his popularity with American Republicans and conservatives might be at an all-time high.
That’s judging from a giant standing ovation that the firebrand journalist received the first time he appeared in public since his ouster, The Western Journal reported.
A social media video show made last week during Carlson’s speech at the Oxford Performing Arts Center of Alabama is showing unyielding applause.

Tucker Carlson appears to be keeping his sense of humor about being fired from his top-rated prime-time spot, telling the audience during a fundraiser in Oxford, Alabama, that he is "probably the first unemployed person you ever invited to speak." https://t.co/VSGA4jppt5

‘Unemployed,’ Yet Still a Featured Speaker
The emblematic conservative host spoke at the annual fundraiser of Rainbow Omega, a Christian nonprofit organization.
According to the report, the video shared by conservative Brilyn Hollyhand shows “the rest of” the US feels differently about Carlson, while Fox News made a tremendous mistake by expelling him.
The Twitter video showing the journalist’s speech in full reveals that not only did he get a 20-second standing ovation at the start, but he was also repeatedly interrupted by applause throughout the speech.
At the start of his address, Tucker Carlson even joked that he was probably “the first unemployed” individual who had ever been “invited to speak.”
He added that when he took the invitation some six months ago, he had no idea he would have a lot of free time to dedicate to the event.
He said he was giving the speech because of his love for Alabama and because he wanted to support the work of the Christian nonprofit, Rainbow Omega.
