COVID Outbreak in the White House

A rapid COVID outbreak within the top leadership of the Democrat Party is happening these days.

Meanwhile, Vice President Kamala Harris was seen violating the guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) by standing maskless in the Senate and the White House.

Harris even stated she was in close contact with a COVID positive individual just a day before.

Kamala Harris Ignored CDC Guidelines

According to Politico, Harris’s office noted Wednesday the vice president was in the vicinity of her communications director, who tested positive.

Still, she did not wear a mask during the Senate session on Thursday, going against the CDC guidelines.

As per the CDC website, vaccinated people who get in contact with COVID-positive people have to wear a mask for ten days.

Politico also reported Harris consulted with a White House doctor as she continued practicing social distancing and kept her interactions “brief” and “limited.”

The same day, the vice president attended an event at the National Gallery of Art without a mask.

All of this exposed the lies of the White House press secretary Jen Psaki, who stated Harris presided over the Senate hearing of Ketanji Brown Jackson by wearing the mask and attending the event of her celebration in the same way.

Though the video tweeted by President Biden’s official Twitter handle showed Harris maskless. While Harris wore the mask inside the White House for some time, she was spotted maskless in the Oval Office.

She stood with President Biden, Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, First lady Jill Biden, and the family members of Judge Jackson. She even hugged the newly confirmed judge Jackson maskless.

Initially, Psaki stated the vice president started wearing the mask inside and while greeting others privately.

White House Defended Harris Violation of Mask Mandate

When Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy asked Psaki about Harris’ ignorance of the CDC guidelines, she acknowledged the mistake.

Psaki noted the vice president maintained social distancing protocols for “99.9 percent” of the event, but her emotional moment with the judge was “understandable.”

So, Doocy also reminded Psaki the vice president also did not wear the mask during Jackson’s confirmation hearing.

Responding to that, the press secretary noted Harris was playing a critical role in overseeing the confirmation of the judge, and she was maintaining a reasonable distance from everyone present in the chamber.

People within the top offices of the United States have contracted COVID in some very recent days.

Apart from Harris, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is also impacted by the virus, alongside Senator Susan Collins.

According to Politico, there are concerns that are rising within the White House administration about the best way to keep such an old president safe.
