America is about to sign a chaotic deal with Iran.
This will pave the way for the Islamic Republic to get nuclear weapons in years to come. This will eventually also help Iran threaten American interests in the Middle East and beyond.
Biden Empowering Iran With Weak Deal
Todd Young, a Republican senator, lambasted the Biden administration for pursuing a controversial nuclear deal with Iran in his op-ed on Fox News.
According to him, the administration would be foolish to sign such a deal that is against the interests of Americans.
As Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping are pushing America to compromise, it is high time America walked away from the negotiation table, the senator added.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said discussions aimed at reviving the 2015 nuclear deal are “moving along well,” an assessment that diverged from a general mood of pessimism around the talks https://t.co/qY26A22Zt2

When the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) was signed under the Obama-Biden administration, it emboldened Iran to a great extent.
First, it helped Tehran with $1.7 billion in cash; the country was given massive relief with $150 billion in sanctions waiver.
While the deal was good for Iran, it was ostensibly bad for America, as it empowered Iran to obtain nuclear weapons.
If the deal is finalized between Tehran and America, it is supposed to give massive relief to Iran.
It will lift all the Trump-era sanctions on Iran; billions of dollars of frozen assets of the country will be returned. Eventually, Iran can get as much as $130.5 billion.
Many top-notch Iranian individuals would be the direct beneficiary of the deal.
Sanctions on Iranian organizations and individuals would be reduced, which includes the famous politician Hossein Dehghan as well. He was involved in killing 220 Marines and 21 Americans in the 1983 bombings in Lebanon.
The senator also claimed Americans would no longer be able to oversee and stop the development of Iran’s nuclear program.
Biden Can Take Iran Army Off the Terrorist List
Likewise, Young stated the deal is also expected to drop Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) from the terrorist list, which will be a severe challenge for America going ahead.
Many GOP leaders are warning Biden not to bring IRGC off the sanctions list, which is building pressure on the president to not go that route.
14 Republican senators wrote a letter to Biden, in which they insisted taking off IRGC from the terrorist list would be a “widely misguided” approach; the country has not changed its conduct toward the international community.

According to Young, negotiating a weak deal with Iran will put Israel’s security at risk, and Lebanon will also be under severe threat.
Eventually, Hamas will start firing more rockets at Israel after getting funding from Iran, which will ultimately create chaos in Gaza as well when Israel retaliates.
Currently, the deal is in a stalemate due to the stubbornness of Russia in the wake of the Ukraine war; however, America is pushing Iran to sign the deal as early as possible.
