The Latest From the President on the Philadelphia Eagles
Last week, Biden found himself attending a fundraising event in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is when the president noted that his wife, First Lady Jill Biden, is a huge fan of the Philadelphia Eagles.
However, rather than leaving it there, Biden claimed he would find himself “sleeping alone” if he, too, were not a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. The president continued, letting his audience know that he wasn’t joking around, contrary to their beliefs.

During this event, Biden also made sure those in attendance were aware that his wife is a sincere “Philly girl.” These remarks from the president arrive as the Philadelphia Eagles are going to be competing against Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl.
The first lady is also heading to Arizona to watch the Super Bowl in person.
Bigger Fish to Fry?
Many Americans were not amused by what looked to be the president’s efforts to be folksy and relatable. In fact, some people took to social media to opine that Biden should be concerned about more important matters facing the nation than the Philadelphia Eagles.
Some of these more important matters include the economy, the southern border, inflation, and rising crime.
During his State of the Union address last week, the president briefly touched upon these issues. However, the solutions provided were viewed by many Americans to be counterproductive and lacking teeth.
