Parents in Loudoun County, Virginia report receiving violent threats on social media, due to their opposition to the school district’s LGBTQ mission.
Alisha Brand, a Loudoun County mother and co-founder of the Army of Parents, stated her organization, which she characterized as a 501(c)(4) that fights for excellence in education, school safety, and parental liberty, infuriated activists online, resulting in “death threats.”
The “Loudoun Love Warriors” Facebook page is where the threats were posted.
Members And Personal Attacks
Members of the “Loudoun Love Warriors” appear to be affiliated with the Loudoun County Commonwealth’s Attorney Buta Biberaj.
They are also linked to School Board Chair Ian Serotkin, County Supervisor Juli Briskman, school board member Brenda Sheridan Atoosa Reaser, and Erika Ogedegbe, along with others.
Although, none of these elected officials made any threats personally.

Mark Winn, a resident of Loudoun County, told WJLA he discovered messages on the Facebook page posing a threat to his life and job. These came after he told the school board in December 2022 that LGBT should not be taught in classrooms.
Scott Mineo, another parent from Loudoun County, told WJLA that activists “came after” his job.
Many members of the vicious Loudoun Love Warriors Facebook group hold these signs at events or put them in their yards as they claim to be kind, loving, and inclusive.

They recommended him to the FBI, IRS, and DHS because they disapproved of his viewpoint. They have affected his life and family; he is currently unemployed and finding it difficult to find a job.
Investigation
Brand stated she referred the matter to the staff of House Judiciary Committee Chair Rep. Jim Jordan in the hopes that the threats and accountability would be investigated.
Additionally, she advocated for laws to protect caregivers who fight for their children in public forums, such as school board meetings.
The spokesperson for the Loudoun County Public Schools alluded to public remarks made by certain Loudoun County officials addressing the controversy.
In response to the news, Buta Biberaj, the Commonwealth’s Attorney for Loudoun County, stated making violent threats is never acceptable and is occasionally even illegal. His office will investigate to determine if an offense has been committed.
